The IGNITE Collegiate Culinary Competition, supported by High River Angus® and Diamond Reef Ocean Products™, is presenting its inaugural event at this year’s The Taste of Colorado Show. Eight culinary students from Valencia College will compete for a scholarship award on the show floor. The competition is going to be heated and full of passion for performance, execution and creativity for the culinary arts. There will be two initial rounds of competing teams of which the winning team will advance to the final round to cook for the championship. Each round will be judged by 3 individuals on criteria defined in the judges’ instructions.
